Paseo del Rey Natural Science Magnet first opened its doors in 1962 and started as a small, neighborhood school. Over the past 50 years, it has grown into a Natural Science Magnet with a diverse student population from throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Teachers, parents, students and alumni, as well as the local residents and business community, have enthusiastically supported Paseo. This support has provided our children with opportunities for greater academic excellence and cultural diversity, without losing the personal caring, nurturing, safety, and intimacy of a neighborhood school.

Thanks CarMax!

Friends of Paseo del Rey is grateful for the volunteers from CarMax Inglewood who worked tirelessly in the Here We Grow Garden on Sunday, June 29th!  We appreciate the community support! As part of the CarMax Cares program, Friends of Paseo del Rey will also be receiving a $1,000 grant for the Here we Grow Garden from CarMax! A special thanks to Paseo parent Doneisha Hunter for organizing the event!
