Box Tops & Labels for Education

Paseo del Rey collects Box Tops for Education to raise money for our school.  Many of you are already aware of the program, and have been submitting Box Tops for years.  Each valid Box Top that is submitted earns 10¢ for our school – and they add up quickly! 

If you’re not familiar with the program, Box Top coupons are on the packaging of hundreds of participating products that you probably use every day.  All you need to do is cut the Box Top coupons off and send them to school with your child.  Ask friends and family to help out as well!  You can send the coupons in a baggie or, if you prefer, you can attach your Box Tops to collection sheets with glue or tape (please, no staples!).  Be sure to include your child’s full name, grade and teacher’s name with the Box Tops you turn in. 

Please make sure of the following few items before submitting Box Tops:

• Each valid Box Tops coupon has an expiration date at the bottom.  Check to make sure the date has not already passed.  Also, do not cut off the date when removing the coupon from packaging.
• Make sure you’re sending an actual coupon (with expiration date), and not the logo from a box.
• If you’re attaching the coupons to a collection sheet, again, use only glue or tape!  Please do NOT use staples!

We collect BoxTops all year long, but our first submission deadline is at the end of October, so keep saving and sending in your Box Tops today!

Labels for Education or LFE (www.labelsforeducation.com) is similar to the BoxTops program. Labels are also found on hundreds of different everyday products. The Labels are cut and submitted to the school, and are added to the school’s point balance. Points can then be redeemed to get much-needed supplies or equipment for the school. Last year we were able to obtain a fax/printer/copier/scanner all-in-one machine for the front office through redeeming LFE points. This year we are looking to get some PE equipment. Again, keep an eye out for more information and collection sheets!
